Hello hello everyone! (Or at least to those of you who have still stuck with me) I was looking and reading back, and I think you all deserve to know why I quit this. So back in very early 2015, my longest and most valued relationship ended... quite suddenly. I was dumped and seriously heartbroken. I am saying this because I know he will never see this.

It took, an incredible toll on me; I was crushed. All my motivation and passion for art just disappeared. And it took a few months but I quickly realized how AWFUL and toxic the relationship was. And after some time I finally moved on, and found someone absolutely amazing!

As for the art, I realized that me drawing so much as an escape from my old relationship... it was a getaway for me to feel like everything was okay and let me keep the blind on. Now that I don’t need an escape, I’ve had to rely on myself for art, and I’m still figuring myself out. So it’s a work in progress and I appreciate you being patient with me! I have done a bit more and I have some goals to do more paintings. So I might actually post here again I can at least post the sketches I have done in the time being here soon. In the mean time, I will remind you all of my instagram where I post at least somewhat update! it is tanukis_art!
