WOW it's been forever since I have updated...

Anyway! This is my dear Minomi. I started sketching this on the way to a field trip to the art museum (imagine that!) and just didn't want to forget about this.

I am working more with proportion and shading, let me know what you think! The wings and hair are my favorite! O3O

Spectacularly done, I adore the detail on the wings. Although, I'm still wondering what she's staring at. Probably that one dumb bird who keeps flying in circles.

Yeah, I kind of doubted it myself. They've predicted the end of life as we know it so many times (and failed) that it's kind of getting old.

This is really cute!

As for the proportions, they're pretty good, but her hand looks a little too small. A good trick for drawing proportional hands is to compare them with the face - when you press your hand to your own face, with the base of the palm at your chin, your fingertips should extend to about your forehead. Hope that helps!
